I'm Afrina Arfa — a finance and economics graduate from Taylor's University, columnist, education consultant, and Director of Anak Indonesia. From a young age, I’ve been drawn to both writing and the intricate world of economics and politics. Combining the two passions was quite the journey until I figured, why not merge them? And so, Afrina Narratives was born, in a small room, with nothing but thoughts to fuel its inception.
Afrina Narratives represents more than just a website – it is a platform for storytelling. The name ‘Narratives’ reflects my vision of creating a space where our personal stories, experiences, and perspectives take centre stage. In a world fuelled with sparse information, narrative provides context, meaning and depth, that I hope would inspire more like me, to think beyond the constraints of society.
